With a foot on each coast, Lisa Montanaro is part no-nonsense Italian-American New Yorker and part sunny Californian. Lisa has a unique background as a performer, teacher of deaf students, recovered lawyer, coach, speaker, and author. She is a prolific non-fiction writer and has published hundreds of articles on topics such as productivity, life-work balance, branding, and personal growth. Her book, The Ultimate Life Organizer: An Interactive Guide to a Simpler, Less Stressful & More Organized Life was published by Peter Pauper Press in 2011. Lisa is presently revising her debut novel, a dual-timeline family drama.
Since spring 2019, Lisa has served as the Webinar Program Leader and Host for the Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), which provides the opportunity to work closely with agents, editors, book coaches, authors, and other experts in the publishing industry. As a Branding, Business, Mindset, and Productivity Coach for writers (and those who provide services to writers!), Lisa provides support and expertise for writers at any stage of their writing career. She helps writers boost confidence and productivity, develop and promote a writer brand, and transition from hobbyist to professional. For the past decade, Lisa has resided in beautiful Northern California with her veterinarian husband, where she is a professed community theater geek, an avid cyclist and gardener, and enjoys spending time with her spoiled, but lovable, rescue mutts!
