Permian Basin Writers' Workshop
Karen Casey Fitzjerrell’s novel, Forgiving Effie Beck, was named to Kirkus Review’s Best Indie Books in two categories – Best Historical Novel and Best Vacation Read. In the past, Karen wrote freelance travel pieces, personal narratives and features for magazines and newspapers before turning her attention to writing novels. She’s a native Texan who calls San Antonio home.
